A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a blend of a Gutlehrdorn and Ausschusslehrdorn. The Ausschuss side of the Gewindelehrdorn bears a red ring. The Gut side must manually (without extra effort) screw into the cut thread of a workpiece. If not feasible, the thread fails to meet expectations (Ausschuss). The Ausschuss side can manually (without extra effort) screw in up to two turns. Beyond that, the thread doesn't meet expectations. A reference temperature of 20°C applies to workpieces and gauges. VÖLKEL offers a factory calibration certificate upon request. Independent lab calibration follows set standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescannern.
